I just read an article in the Boston Globe that when you lose a job, it may be the time to find your “passion”. The word is definitely overused but you get the point.
But what about college seniors who may be entering the workplace for the first time? What’s their passion??? Finding a job and moving out of the house is probably passion enough for right now.
Building a track record of work experience where you can develop skills, make contacts and prove yourself may be a tall order in this economy but none the less it’s the “passion” many are looking for.
