I just came from my kids’ graduation ceremony. The keynote speaker was great; his message: Stay in the Race. Just because you are graduating doesn’t mean the race is over. It means a new kind of race, one in which you are doing alone is starting.
In college you worked in teams. On the sports field you worked in teams. In the working world you will work in teams. But when you are looking for a job, you are looking alone and running that race alone.
Don’t stop moving…
