Steven Rothberg posted an interesting article yesterday on his blog (www.CollegeRecruiter.com). It seems that Harvard University has hired job coaches to help its business school students navigate this tough job market. On the one had, I thought that was a great thing to do. After all, a Harvard MBA costs $$$. On the other hand, I know they have always done this so what’s the big deal? Publicity
“Thanks for all your help. I used to hate my job but now I know where it will lead and it makes every day a positive one.”
You can read the entire article at http://www.CollegeRecruiter.com/weblog/2009/02/even_harvard_gr.php .
Harvard Graduates should look in larger organizations such as AT&T,Verizon, Novartis Institute of BioMedical Research – I just saw a great number of postings for senior and experienced positions which mean they are not advertising for the junior level jobs because of the overwhelming responses. Network in!!!! Get linked in and find people you know!
